Active members are the lifeblood of the CCBA, planning and organizing monthly meetings and annual events. Additionally, membership dues fund the monthly Newsletter and the Annual Bird Show in October.

• The ability to sell birds for free at monthly meetings and at the Spring Bird Sale (February 15, 2009)
• Participation in the free September Feather Show (September 20, 2009)
• Access to a network of regional canary and finch breeders
• A support system of local canary and finch hobbyists
